3. "You Have No Idea" - The Lion King http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nTFflehHtvI To my mind, no other Disney villain nailed that fine line between hilarity and pure, unadulterated evil like Scar, who was voiced perfectly by the one and only Jeremy Irons in The Lion King. The way that Irons can be heard reading his lines throughout, with a malevolent deliciousness, really marks this character as one of the all-time great villains, regardless of whether or not they happen to be animated. And there's a moment in The Lion King imbued with an incredibly subtle in-joke, one which most people have probably missed. During the first scene with Simba and Scar, the pair can be seen goofing around, and in which Simba playfully tells his uncle, "You're so weird." Scar sardonically replies: "You have no idea." This, in fact, is a reference to the same line that Jeremy Irons had in the movie Reversal of Fortune, which had the actor playing a British gentleman named Claus who is accused of murdering his wife. In one scene, somebody says to Claus, "You're a very strange man." In the exact same style as his Lion King reading, Irons replies: "You have no idea." Chills.
