5. Harry Potter And The Goblet Of Fire - "We Don't Really Talk At All"
I had to search far and wide for this one, but it's well worth the effort. In Harry Potter, Year 4, Hermione has someone realize she's not just a girl, but she's a worthwhile and even lovely girl. And, surprise of all surprises, it's not Ron. Even less surprising is that Ron does suddenly realize that he doesn't want Hermione to be paying attention to someone other than him. He passes it off as "fraternizing with the enemy," but Hermione sees right through that and tells him to ask her to a ball next time as something other than a last resort. So, that drama aside, mid-movie, she has a humorous moment with Harry. They are discussing the upcoming Second Task and this clip leaves me fist-bumping an imaginary Hermione and saying, "You go, girl!" If you haven't caught why yet, there's the part where Hermione explains that "Viktor is more of a" *slight grimace* "physical being." So that pre-answers Ron's question about whether Hermione snogged Viktor Krum. It answers whether there is chemistry or just a meeting of two minds. It shows that Hermione, the logical brainiac insufferable know-it-all, can be mortified. And it's adorable.

That's Kaki pronounced like the pants, thank you very much, my family nickname and writing name. I am a Red Sox-loving, Doctor Who-quoting, Shaara-reading walking string quartet of a Mormon writer from Boston. I currently work 40 hours at a stressful desk job with a salary that lets me pick up and travel to places like Ireland or Philadelphia. I have no husband or kids, but I have five nephews to keep me entertained. When not writing, working or eating too much Indian food, I'm always looking for something new to learn, whether it's French or family history.
