3. Bolivar Trask

Why He Could Die: Played by the fantastic Peter Dinklage, Bolivar Trask is the creator of the Sentinel program and thus the creator of the reason why the future is so bad. Therefore, it stands to reason that he has to be "convinced" to not make Sentinels anymore, and it could be that Mystique and/or Magneto succeed in their crusade by assassinating Trask. However, this could also make him a martyr, meaning the Sentinel program only picks up more speed. Either way, things aren't looking good for Trask making it to the end of the movie. Why He Could Live: If the good guys manage to save the future, which seems fairly likely, saving Trask may be a part of that mission because "superheroes don't kill". However, even if he were to die, the future could still be saved, because the Sentinel program could presumably be shut down without Trask alive to see it. Likelihood: 8/10. The fact that Trask is a new character (the version in X-Men 3 is likely being discounted), he has no real reason to make it past this movie. Look for him biting the dust at some point in the film.
