2. Future Magneto

Why He Could Die: The Master of Magnetism is arguably the most powerful future mutant and therefore would pose a large threat to the presumably metal-based Sentinels. As covered in the Future Xavier entry, there could very well be a scene where all of the future X-Men are wiped out as they send Wolverine back. Knowing that he is killed by the Sentinels in the future could go a long way to convincing Magneto to stay on the good side in the past. Why He Could Live: Magneto just has to be around for future adventures, right? He's one of the few supervillains in movie history that fans don't tear to pieces and represents a perfect foil to the X-Men. Hopefully this isn't the last roundup for the old cast, even though it's seeming that way. With X-Men: Apocalypse on the horizon, it would be very cool to see Magneto become the peaceful mutant leader just like he does in the comics. Likelihood: 4/10. Magneto is probably the least likely to die out of the future X-Men besides for Wolverine. Although the old cast may not be back for any more adventures, it is likely that both versions of Magneto make it to the end credits still breathing.
