8 Major Comic-Con Revelations Everyone Missed
5. Apocalypse’s Four Horsemen Revealed
After Star Wars, X-Men: Apocalypse's ridiculously star-studded panel got probably the most attention from the media this year. Reports mostly focused on the important stuff, like how James McAvoy had a bald head, how Hugh Jackman repeated what everyone already knew about him quitting after Wolverine 3, and how Channing Tatum turned up to take a photo - you know, stuff that has nothing to do with the content of the film.
Nestled in amongst the reports was the actually pretty crucial news of who Apocalypse (whose design was tantalisingly revealed for the first time at Comic-Con) would choose as his Four Horsemen in the latest X-Men. Singer revealed the four would be Storm, Psylocke, Angel and Magneto.
Pity Michael Fassbender's poor Magneto, who is living a quiet existence and trying to settle down in Apocalypse when the villain recruits him. But that's the way of Apocalypse, who it's said is akin to a cult leader with brainwashing capabilities (which would explain how he managed to hire ostensible good guys Storm and Angel, too).
