8 More Background Actors In Star Wars Who Got Themselves Noticed

5. Davin Felth

While perhaps not the most famous background stormtrooper of all time (oh, we'll get there), this Imperial soldier seen wandering around the desert world of Tatooine still remarkably found a way to linger in folks' minds.

Perhaps it was just the enthusiasm on show when he delivered the iconic line of "Look, sir! Droids!" when searching for R2-D2 and C-3PO, or possibly the way his armour had been charmingly scuffed and dirtied by his time serving as a trooper of the Empire. Either way, this stormtrooper just felt different when watching that first trip to the galaxy far, far away.

And those wanting to know a little more about the dude who discovered the O-ring that had fallen off Threepio's body were eventually in luck.

Within the Legends continuity, it would ultimately be revealed in the When the Desert Wind Turns: The Stormtrooper's Tale short story by Doug Beason that this soldier known as Davin Felth was actually responsible for discovering the mighty AT-ATs all-important weakness - that being if you could get cables around their legs, these walkers were done for.

He was then sent off to Tatooine after revealing this discovery to his superiors, with the Empire seemingly looking to hide this design flaw. Jokes on them, though, as Davin would then end up becoming a spy for the rebels and likely handed them some rather useful AT-AT info.

All that from one well delivered line amidst the sand? Well played, Colin Michael Kitchen - the person who claims to have delivered said words when dubbing the scene.
