6. Free Indy From His Annoying Companions - Indiana Jones
I don't care what anybody says about Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, or how close they think it came to matching the magic of the original trilogy, his companions in this entry were the most annoying characters in recent memory - Shia LaBeouf, Karen Allen, John Hurt, Ray Winstone. Each and every one of them spent the entire movie being nothing but irritating, whilst Indiana Jones became a kind of secondary character to their complaining. That's to say, if Indiana Jones and the Temple of the Fifth Movie actually happens (and recent rumours say that it will), the best approach that the filmmakers could take is to free Indy from the burdens that these characters are placing upon him. I don't want Indy to have a wife and a son. Nobody wants to watch a movie about Indy and his wife. Have him crash land somewhere in the fifth movie, and from there on in he's on his own - Indy needs to be front and centre. He's not player two... he's player freakin' one! Ensure that he is.
