3. Quentin Tarantino Left A Line Inconsistency In For A Good Reason - Pulp Fiction

Getting the all-time classic Quentin Tarantino action underway with a typical wave of instantly iconic dialogue, Pulp Fiction's first scene sees Tim Roth and Amanda Plummer's "Pumpkin" and "Honey Bunny", respectively, kick off a robbery with the latter's brilliant delivery of "Any of you f***ing pr**ks move, and I'll execute every motherf***ing last one of ya!"

However, when this restaurant robbery is revisited at the very end of the flick, Plummer appears to let loose a slightly different version of the dialogue she originally unleashed.

This noticeable shift to "Any of you f***ing pr**ks move, and I'll execute every last one of ya motherf***ers!" may initially seem like a careless continuity error QT was perhaps hoping you wouldn't clock. But in reality, it actually helped highlight how the narrative view point had changed to Jules and Vincent during this return to the intense moment.

Perhaps Plummer did just accidentally spurt out a jumbled version of the line she'd uttered differently elsewhere in the flick here. Yet, whether it was always a part of the plan or not, Tarantino clearly saw the benefit in leaving this particular inconsistency in perhaps his greatest-ever picture.
