8 Movie Sequels You Didn't Know Were Coming In 2019

3. The Nut Job 3

Men In Black 4
Open Road Films

If you didn't even know that The Nut Job 2 already came out, then we can't blame you - its 10-percent Rotten Tomatoes score is a direct reflection of its quality, and it should be avoided as if it were a bullet.

Not much has been discussed about The Nut Job 3 just yet, but it was unintentionally outed by a trademark application submitted earlier this year. However, given that the series has made enough money to be considered successful, a third entry isn't really shocking.

As you'd expect, there are currently no details about the story, cast or crew that have been made available, besides the fact that ToonBox Entertainment - the company who produced the first two movies - will also be back on animating duties for this one.

If you have kids that need distracting for 90 minutes or you just want to shut your brain off for a while and watch brightly-shaped objects dance around then you'll probably find The Nut Job 3 to be worth your time, but be warned; a Pixar, DreamWorks, or even Illumination-level series this is not.

Danny has been with WhatCulture for almost nine years, and is currently Doctor Who Editor and WhoCulture Channel Manager, overseeing all of WhatCulture's Whoniverse coverage. He has been writing and video editing for 10+ years, and first got a taste for content creation after making his own Doctor Who trailers and uploading them to YouTube (they're admittedly a bit rusty by today's standards). If you need someone to recite every Doctor Who episode in order or to tell you about the making of 1988's Remembrance of the Daleks, Danny is the person to ask.
