8 People Who Must Be Fired From The Marvel Cinematic Universe

3. Amy Pascal

Amy Pascal, one of many bigshot producers over at Sony Pictures, is one of the people who made Spider-Man's integration into the Marvel Cinematic Universe possible. Good for her, right? And yet, she's also one of the people responsible for the awfulness that was The Amazing Spider-Man 2, which suggests that she has no business being around the iconic character when it's time for him to make his leap into the MCU canon. And yet Marvel's deal with Sony denotes that Pascal - on behalf of the studio - retains all creative control over the character, meaning that Spider-Man making his way into the MCU could prove to be something akin to a nightmarish move if Pascal has a differing vision. Presumably Kevin Feige will try to lever some kind of control, but who knows? She won't get fired, of course, because Amy Pascal isn't going to fire herself - and yet, if she cared about the future of the MCU, she might consider it to be a truly viable option.
