8 Post-Credits Scenes Marvel Didn’t Have The Balls To Shoot

5. Black Panther And Cap Bond Over Vibranium

The post-credits sting for Ant-Man has been pored over a fair bit since its release, with the brief scene showing Steve Rogers and Sam Wilson (aka Falcon) trying to help Bucky, who has been trapped in some sort of vice.

It€™s a clear set up for Civil War, showing part of Captain America€™s team and teasing the addition of Ant-Man to that. However, that€™s already been done in the movie, and it€™s not like Civil War needs the hype - it€™s essentially an Avengers movie at this point. Furthermore, Bucky was a great character in The Winter Solider, and we already knew he€™d be a big part of Civil War.

It would€™ve been a good opportunity to introduce us to a new character in the MCU, more specifically Black Panther. Wakanda was seen in Age of Ultron, but unless you follow the comics or at least the outlines of them, you wouldn€™t know the relevance of it beyond that movie.

As most comic fans will be aware, it's the home country and kingdom of Black Panther. Chadwick Boseman has already been cast as the hero, and he€™ll be appearing in Civil War, so having him appear in the post-credits scene - it could be involving Cap and his shield, since vibranium comes from Wakanda - would not only introduce fans to a less mainstream character, but still manage to tease the next Marvel movie as well.
