8 Post-Credits Scenes Marvel Didn’t Have The Balls To Shoot

4. Literally Anything Explaining Loki's Survival

Loki is the best villain Marvel has introduced so far, so it was understandable when they decided to bring him back as the major foe for the Avengers to face in their much-anticipated team-up. He was brilliantly teased at the end of Thor, showing he was influencing Dr Selvig, which sets up his bigger role in The Avengers.

The only issue is that during Thor we saw the God of Mischief falling off the bridge to his apparent death, or at least being trapped in a wormhole of some sort, so how did he return? It€™s never fully explained, although obviously Thanos had something to do with it.

A scene at the end of Captain America: The First Avenger, showing Loki being returned by some mysterious power - they could still save the reveal of Thanos for The Avengers - would€™ve helped to answer the question, while also further establishing him as the villain of the upcoming movie, and adding a huge air of mystery as to just who it was that saved him and why.

Instead we just got a big advert for The Avengers, which everyone was already crazily excited for anyway.
