3. An Amazing Lead Performance
Even completely discounting what Affleck will offer from behind the scenes, on camera, his presence is going to do wonders for the film. His dedicated and convincing performance was easily the best part of Batman V Superman and despite plenty of initial doubters, many were wanting more Batfleck by the time the film was over.
His Batman truly felt like a hardened crime-fighter who had been on the streets too long. Likewise, his Bruce Wayne was believable as a separate entity and felt like a real-world businessman. The damaged psyche of the character was there and Affleck successfully embodied all aspects of Batman.
Though it may seem trivial, he also completely looks the part. He’s extremely built and just as muscular as the real Batman would presumably need to be, adding another layer to his performance.
If nothing else about the film works, it’s a safe bet that at the very least, Affleck’s acting will not be a failure. He's an engrossing star and any scene with him in it is likely to be worth watching.
