8 Reasons Why Frozen Is The Best Disney Film In A Generation

3. A Snowman's Obsession With Summer

We all want what we can't have, even if it wouldn't be good for us. This is expressed in Olaf's obsession with summer. As previously mentioned, it uses a wonderful song called In Summer to express this desire. Of course, Olaf is innocently oblivious that there's a very good reason why snowmen aren't around during the warmer months. This is summed up in the comical lyrics of In Summer €“ the song goes, "Winter's a good time time to stay in and cuddle, But put me in summer and I'll be a... happy snowman!" which he says as he jumps over a puddle is a comic delight you just didn't expect. You constantly expect someone to tell him the truth about summer, but Olaf continues in his comic innocence throughout the film. The snowman even looks at one point like he might melt from being too close to a fire as he tries to save Anna, seemingly unaware of the danger even as he's starting to dissolve. But she saves him and such is their love for him, Elsa provides him with his very own snow flurry so that he can survive through and finally enjoy summer for himself. It's a delightful story which shows that Frozen isn't a single person's story, but a culmination of those from different viewpoints.

I'm a pop culture addict. Television, cinema, comics, games - you name it, and I've done it. Or at least read the plot synopsis on Wikipedia.
