8 Redeeming Qualities Of The Star Wars Prequel Trilogy

6. Yoda Can Fight

Yoda 2 For decades we knew Yoda as a wise old mentor, supported by cane and ailing in health, yet there was no Jedi greater than the little green recluse. Slow in movement and astute in speech, we may have saw Yoda as an easy target against the likes of any Sith over a meter tall. Well, Episode II changed all that as we saw for the first time the extraordinary combative skills of the one and only legend of the Jedi Order. Although the scene when Yoda faces off with his former apprentice Count Dooku was short and may have disappointed fans hoping for more, Episode III revealed an even more serious Yoda, an unleashed beast who knew how to take care of business when he needed to. With grace and honor Yoda contains the agility and rapid reflexes that any young Jedi in their prime could dream of. Flipping from wall to wall, with grunts and battle cries that were sure to have had Emperor Palpatine wetting his robes, Yoda's skills were far more than we could have ever dreamed of from the little guy. We could not have expected any less to match the superior intellect of the Grand Master, and the battle in the Galactic Senate in Episode III gave us a proper showcase of just how great Yoda's aptitude was.
