This film was one big mess from start to finish, living in infamy thanks to Christian Bale's explosive rant at the poor guy sorting out the lights. However, he should have directed his anger at the script and director, McG (a man who sounds like he should be in a Happy Meal). We may have had a little 'fan-gasm' when a CGI Arnie stepped on to the screen, but it did nothing to hide the ridiculous plot convenience. As John Connor lies dying after the destruction of the Skynet base, the cyborg Marcus offers his own heart for a transplant. Really? Just like that? It works, of course, but what were the odds they were the same blood type? Did anybody even check? It doesn't matter, though, because John survives and issues his battle cry over the radio. But now we're past caring. You can sh*t all over the Terminator franchise, McG, but please don't insult our intelligence whilst you do it.
