Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues (2013) 9 Years
Will Ferrell must be walking on some fine lines these days. The phenomenon that was this former SNL star that rose to its peak with Anchorman and Talladega Nights appears to have fallen to the wayside. Like many former SNL comedians that find that niche of wild antics that when duplicated works for a few films early on (Adam Sandler, Mike Myers), audiences eventually grew bored and moved on from the fad that was Will Ferrell. So nine years later, does Anchorman deserve a decent chance or is this an obvious ploy for former glory? As much as it may seem unneeded, Anchorman has been sitting on the sidelines without a word for years that it might work. People enjoyed Anchorman and time may not hurt the life of this one. We will see if Ron Burgundy still makes the news or not here soon.
