8 Sequels Teased In Post-Credits Scenes (That Never Actually Happened)

5. Crank 3

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W1oQGiV5AHw Crank: High Voltage is, in my eyes, one of the most underrated films of the last decade; it was an uproariously funny surrealist experiment that turned out to be far more clever than people have ever given it credit for, reflexively mocking its own ADHD-afflicted style (who can forget the "9 Seconds Later" intertitle?) and building hugely on the more straight-forward framework of the original film. The film served up manic action by the truckload, ending with Chev Chelios (Jason Statham) killing those who wronged him but burning himself to a crisp in the process. During the credits, we see Doc Miles (Dwight Yoakam) trying to keep Chev alive by replacing his heart, but it's not looking good. The main credit sequence finishes and we then cut to a glimpse of a heavily-bandaged, blackened Chev semingly in a coma for all of eternity. Suddenly...his eyes open, and we cut to black. I don't think I'm alone in thinking that Crank 3D is an absolute must; if they can find a way to top the ridiculous insanity of High Voltage, then there will definitely be an audience for it. Though this sequel didn't do as well as the first film financially, it still turned a decent enough profit, and so I've got my fingers crossed that it still gets made one day.
