8 Sequels That Fixed Movie Plot Holes

1. The Fake Infinity Gauntlet - Thor: Ragnarok

Our third and final Marvel entry shows that their "master plan" for the Infinity Saga was a load of old hoopla.

As previously mentioned, the main focal point of the first four phases of the MCU are the Infinity Stones and, by proxy, the Infinity Gauntlet.

Once equipped with the six sparkly rocks, the Gauntlet can be used to alter the very fabric of reality, as Thanos does when he wipes out half of the population of the universe.

The first time we properly see the Gauntlet is during the mid-credits scene of Avengers: Age of Ultron. However, eagle-eyed viewers might have seen the golden glove much earlier.

In Thor, during a visit to Odin's vault, a Gauntlet is clearly visible on display alongside a bunch of other relics. As revealed six years later in Thor: Ragnarok, this model is a fake.

Hera lets it slip that it's a knock-off, even tipping it over to watch it break. This five second long scene helped plug perhaps the largest plot hole in MCU history and proved that the team behind the films spend just as much time obsessing over them on Twitter as we all do.
