8 Shocking Horror Movie Monsters With Surprising Powers
1. Ghost Shark - Nowhere Is Safe
You’ve definitely heard of people being afraid to get in the bath after watching Jaws, which I always thought was ridiculous for a number of reasons - the most obvious of which being that Jaws famously was limited to one section of ocean, he was never in your bath.
Well if you’re after a film to validate all your washroom wildlife fears then Ghost Shark is here to help. If you thought sharks were scary enough when spread out amongst millions of square metres of water in the ocean, then they’re even worse when they can be summoned to even a mere puddle in your front yard!
The central monster in Ghost Shark is - you guessed it - a ghost shark. After being tortured and killed by a sadistic fisherman and his daughter, the shark’s immortal soul is resurrected and gifted the ability of materialising near any body of water, no matter how small.
It pops up from a swimming pool, a water pipe and even a cup of water. At its core, this supernatural ability is really funny. Having a shark materialise from 500ml of water you left in a cup on the counter is stupid - but it’s funny and unexpected nonetheless.
