8 Signs Not Even The Filmmakers Have Faith In Batman V Superman

7. Nolan€™s Name Is Removed From All Press Releases

Man Of Steel's brilliant trailer premiered before The Dark Knight Rises, with Christopher Nolan's role as producer prominently displated. Clearly the reboot was trying to piggy-back on the director's success with Batman and the kudos his name brings with it. He'd successfully brought Bruce Wayne back from the murk of Batman And Robin and Warner Bros. were keen to see him help shepherd in the Justice League to the big screen. And like that, he's gone. Nolan has been distinctly absent from any public involvement with Batman V Superman, with his role reduced to Executive Producer. Now, of course, he's busy with Interstellar and is probably more than happy to leave superheroes behind, but the fact he's taken a step back suggests a distinct lack of interest, which does seem a little out of character. Could Nolan's increased distancing be part of a realisation that this new take on Supes and Bats doesn't have a bright future (and we're not referencing the lack of jokes)?
