8 Superheroes That Deserve A Live Action Adaptation

8. She-Hulk

Type of Adaptation: MCU Movie Thanks to a successful TV show, less successful movie adaptations and a stellar turn in the Avengers movies, most of the general public is aware of the story of Bruce Banner and his inner demon. One aspect of the Hulk property that has yet to be fully explored (if you don€™t count the planned Brigitte Nielsen film) is Bruce Banner€™s cousin and gamma infected supporting character She-Hulk. Jennifer Walter€™s was lucky that the day she was shot by mob boss Nicholas Trask, was also the day her cousin Bruce Banner was in town. Bruce, it turns out, was the only match for a required blood transfusion that he kindly provided. Unlucky for Jennifer that Bruce€™s blood was full of gamma radiation, which resulted in some very unexpected side effects and transformed the shy and timid Jennifer into She-Hulk. Unlike her cousin, Jennifer doesn€™t transform when she is angry, instead Jennifer is constantly the She-Hulk and has full cognitive control. She is smart, indestructible, strong (albeit not as strong as Hulk) and sexy. She-Hulk was introduced in 1980, has been a member of the Avengers and the Fantastic Four and has been through several character changes since her inception. Most comic book fans will know her as a fun loving, humorous and fourth wall breaking heroine. Marvel has shown with Ant-Man and Guardians of the Galaxy that they are willing to take more of a humorous route with their properties and She-Hulk fit€™s directly into that mold. Marvel have been criticised for the lack of female superheroes in their films. Black Widow and Gamora have been supporting characters and the only other MCU female star we will see in the upcoming phase is Captain Marvel. She-Hulk is a no brainer for Marvel and one I would be surprised if they hadn€™t already considered. She has an instant link to the Marvel Universe and her origin could even be set up in one of the Avengers film leading straight to her own film.
