8 Superheroes That Deserve A Live Action Adaptation
7. Spider-Woman
Type of Adaptation: MCU Netflix Mini Series This one is probably a harder sell for Marvel. Spider-Woman has no connection to Spider-Man, which will be confusing for casual fans, and she can glide, which is just plain weird, as spiders dont glide. Jessica Drew is a former H.Y.D.R.A. agent and a super powered badass. As well as the power to glide she can also stick to walls, create venom blasts and is super strong and agile. She has been a member of The Avengers, S.H.E.I.L.D and the shape-shifting queen of the invading Skrull army (albeit this was a Skrull in disguise). What makes Spider-Woman an interesting property to adapt is that she is essentially a former super villain trying to make amends for past mistakes and who doesnt love a story of redemption? An adaptation could allow for a superhero espionage adventure, much like what we have already seen in Captain America: The Winter Soldier.
