8 Terrifying Horror Comics That Should Be Made Into Movies

5. Fatale

In the world of Fatale, we follow the ill-fated maneater, Josephine, an immortal seductress that has lived from the 1930s through to the present day. Jo struggles to control her power which causes numerous men to become obsessed with her. This may sound like a charmed life for our protagonist, but as the men often meet grizzly ends due to her supernatural appeal, Jo would be happier to be rid of the power altogether. Sometimes, it's the men that are in love with Jo that are the ones trying to kill her, or each other.

Featuring constant travel through time periods, including the thirties, fifties, seventies and nineties, this could be a cinematographer's dream, as well as a costume designer's nightmare. Fatale is sure to strike chords with fans of the James Bond franchise; a very attractive lead gliding through potential love/lust interests whilst trying to uncover a more sinister plot. The parallels are plain to see.

The horror of the story comes from a supernatural cult that hunts Jo due to her gifts that somehow connect her to their deities. These higher beings are somewhat Lovecraftian in their vile appearances, and a heavier emphasis on the savagery of this cult would be a welcome addition to a more horror-heavy adaptation of Fatale.
