4. Sentinels (X-Men: Days Of Future Past)

We've seen the X-Men go up against a host of enemies in the previous movies in the franchise; Magneto, Dark Phoenix, Juggernaut, an appalling version of Deadpool, Sebastian Shaw and the Silver Samurai to name but a few - but seeing them going up against a horde of mutant-killing giant robots is going to be epic. We sort of saw a Sentinel in X-Men: The Last Stand, when Wolverine and a few of the other X-Men were in a simulated fight in the Danger Room - but obviously that only turned out to be a hologram. Therefore, the Sentinels are eagerly anticipated. Viral videos have already made their way around the internet showing short clips of Trask Industries products protecting humans, but we all know that their intentions won't just be to stand around looking formidable €“ they'll be going in to battle with the X-Men in order to obliterate what Trask sees as the mutant problem. The potential visuals could be fantastic and there will no doubt be some major losses in the mutant ranks when these formidable killing machines are set loose on the world.
