8 Things Everybody Missed In The Batman V Superman Trailer
1. The Batwing Kills
The Batwing makes a fine entrance in the Batman V Superman trailer, gliding into view over some dockside warehouses and raining down the explosive justice. But as everyone was busy marvelling at the new model of 'the Bat', most failed to realise they'd just been witness to Batman straight-up killing a guy.
Yes, Batman allowing Ra's al Ghul to die at the end of Batman Begins isn't exactly something Gandhi would have condoned, but the Caped Crusader was at least never the one to deliver the killer blow in the Dark Knight trilogy. Now it seems - from this one shot - that Batman is still administering punishment in Batman V Superman, only this time he's added 'ending lives' to the to-do list.
This would appear to be a very different Batman ideologically: whereas Christian Bale's Batman was a defender, it appears Affleck's Batman will take on the role of the aggressor. Unless he's going to try and pass this one off as, "I shot a car and it exploded, the explosion killed him", it's probably safe to say Bruce Wayne is now 'trying new things' as a midnight crime fighter.
