8 Upcoming Movies Everybody Already Hates

The Hate: The Transformers movies get more and more disappointing with each entry, so this will probably follow suit.

Not much is known about the inevitable Transformers 6, other than the fact that it's happening.

Even though this year's The Last Knight was panned by critics (shocker!) and made a lot less than other entries in the franchise, it still made enough to warrant a followup and not a hard reboot.

But, like the Fifty Shades franchise, does anyone really care at this point? Do a Google search for the Transformers movies and read any of the articles you find and you're all-but guaranteed to find a mention of how bad this series is. It hasn't earned our respect or our trust; it's only earned our disdain.

It's not even like die-hard Transformers fans are onboard, either. The Last Knight's Unicron reveal was hardly faithful to the source material, so if these movies aren't pleasing critics, general filmgoers or hardcore fanboys, who the hell are they for?

After ten years of bad movies, it's okay to hate Transformers 6, even though we don't know anything about it; we haven't really been given any other choice. Fingers crossed for the Bumblebee spinoff.

Danny has been with WhatCulture for almost nine years, and is currently Doctor Who Editor and WhoCulture Channel Manager, overseeing all of WhatCulture's Whoniverse coverage. He has been writing and video editing for 10+ years, and first got a taste for content creation after making his own Doctor Who trailers and uploading them to YouTube (they're admittedly a bit rusty by today's standards). If you need someone to recite every Doctor Who episode in order or to tell you about the making of 1988's Remembrance of the Daleks, Danny is the person to ask.
