The upcoming Spider-Man sequel is currently performing reshoots according to social media posts from numerous cast members, in conjunction with word from The Hollywood Reporter.

Principal photography wrapped in mid-October, and the film is due to release on July 2nd of this year.

What They Mean

It's well-known that Marvel Studios budgets time and money for reshoots in every single one of their movies, and even Avengers: Endgame of all movies was still shooting pickups back in January.

Given that Tom Holland is currently reshooting Chaos Walking, it's safe to say that the reshoots are likely only minor character moments rather than anything substantial. It's also possible some additional post-Endgame context is being added to the film now that the epic tentpole has been completed.

Plus, the MCU is an extremely well-oiled machine at this point, and so there's not much reason to bat an eyelid at them undertaking reshoots, even when they're happening barely two months away from release.
