8 Ways DC's Extended Universe Will Change Comic Book Movies Forever

1. The Worst Case Scenario

So far, I've explored all of the good things which could come from the success of the DC Films Universe, but what if Batman v Superman is a flop? That movie failing is unlikely to bring a halt to Justice League, but Part Two being delayed seems highly likely, and it wouldn't be in the least bit surprising to see the likes of Aquaman and The Flash suddenly drop from Warner Bros.' release schedule as they re-think their strategy. Alternatively, if all of these movies happen and fail to live up to expectations (bear in mind that the studio doesn't have a Kevin Feige watching over things), that could very well lead to audiences quickly falling victim to superhero fatigue, something which will damage the genre in a major way. This is very much a worst case scenario of course, but for as much good as these movies might do, the bad is potentially infinitely worse... How do you think DC's Extended Universe will affect the comic book movie genre in the future? Share your thoughts below in the comments thread.
