8 Ways Infinity War Could Affect Netflix's Marvel Universe
2. The Spectacular Crossover
Despite being a small time, street-level hero, more in line with the Marvel heroes of the small screen, Spidey will be front and centre during the battle with Thanos. Whether he lives or dies (cross your fingers and knock on wood it's not the latter), his sacrifice will almost certainly be felt by the MCU at large.
If that were to happen, it would undoubtedly manifest in Netflix's shows as news reports, murals on walls, the Spider-Man theme being played by buskers in the subway, or even a figure swinging above the heroes' heads as they go about their lives on the ground.
What would be really exciting, however, is Spider-Man returning to his street hero roots and meeting his fellows in Daredevil, Luke Cage, Jessica Jones, Iron Fist, and even the Punisher, who was based in Queens—Spidey's home turf—during his show's first season.
The fact that— in the comics at least—the Punisher first debuted in Spider-Man, Spidey is good friends with Daredevil, and that Peter Parker went to school with Jessica Jones, just means that fans would be wholly ecstatic to see Spidey frequenting both the small screen and the silver.
