2. The Pen Is Mightier Than The Sword
Some of your best work has been done just by using a few strategic words instead of explosions. Words, whether whispered in ones ear, written on a notecard, or repeated through vast media campaigns can alter perceptions in ways much more profound than any physical conflict can accomplish, and as you know, everyone has emotional breaking points, especially a freeloader like Superman. You know not just how to make Superman doubt himself, but how to make him be completely overcome with despair. And you dont even need anyone to die to do it (yes, what you did with Miss Vaughn in For All Seasons was completely unnecessarymore on that later). Now is the perfect time for this. You already own a corporation at the very least. With the right rhetoric, you and those media organizations that work for you can win over innumerable points of view and shape them into supporting your own, from entire nations all the way down to individual citizens waiting for a bus; all you would be risking is your wallet, which we all know is of little consequence. Just please dont inspire Superman by accident. Because as much as you try to the contrary, youre good at that too. But your plans can be even greater yet. With certain tweaks at the right moments, you can even make Superman your own Manchurian Candidate.
