2. Jared Leto's Joker Doesn't Seem Quite Right

There's been a lot of talk (not to mention a lot of hype) with regards to Jared Leto's upcoming turn as the Joker. Audiences haven't seen a whole lot of this guy in action yet, save for a few moments in the last teaser. This trailer offers up more footage of Suicide Squad's Clown Prince of Gotham, but this time around it feels kind of... wrong? That's not to say that Leto will be anything other than mesmerising in the role, because there's a good chance that he'll blow everyone out of the water. But something about the way he looks and acts in the latest trailer is a bit off-putting; not necessarily with the way that Leto is playing the iconic villain, but with the way he fits into the story, perhaps. Sometimes a trailer will alleviate your fears about a certain character, but - for some reason - this one gives you more reason to worry. Leto's Joker feels out of place (or out of time, given those outfit choices), almost though he's in the wrong movie or something. If you previously felt like the character was in safe hands, then, this trailer might have given you reason to change your mind.
