4. Work With a Visionary Director
This seems a no-brainer. Whether its someone iconic like Spielberg, Scorcese or Nolan, or someone a bit more left-field like David Lynch, Wes Anderson or Paul Thomas Anderson, working with a director with a very distinctive vision means she will be moulded to their insane genius to become a great character- even if she is the weak link, shell be part of something special. Again, she will be siding herself with talented people, but rather than just a solid director who knows what theyre doing, shell learn by hard craft what its like to work with visionaries (sorry, Michael Bay) Imagine RHW in something by Terry Gilliam or Quentin Tarantino, or a Danny Boyle film! And to her credit, she may bring to the table exactly what the director is looking for, and strike up a great creative relationship with them.
