8 Ways The New Batman V Superman Trailer Proves It Will Be 2016's Best Comic Book Movie

7. Good Riddance, David Goyer

If you had a problem with Man Of Steel, then it's probably fair to blame it on David Goyer. How the writer of Blade: Trinity and Ghost Rider: Spirit Of Vengeance talked his way onto the Superman reboot is hard to say (working with Christopher Nolan probably helped), but when it was revealed that he would be returning to pen Batman v Superman, fans obviously started worrying about the movie. Thankfully, Ben Affleck brought Argo's Chris Terrio with him when he signed on to star, and the Academy Award winning screenwriter has clearly had a positive impact on proceedings. The dialogue we hear in the trailer is top notch, with the lengthy scene between Bruce Wayne and Clark Kent a perfect example of that. Their disdain for each other's alter egos comes across perfectly and not in a heavy handed way at all. There are other brief examples throughout the trailer, though the quality of the dialogue was apparent from the moment we heard that awesome, "Tell me, do you bleed?" line in the teaser! Has Terrio nailed the story as well? If the movie plays out like the trailer made it appear, it's going to be a fairly by the numbers affair, but that can be forgiven if it's at least strongly written in other ways. We'll just have to wait and see.

Josh Wilding hasn't written a bio just yet, but if they had... it would appear here.
