9 Awesome Thanos Moments That Need To Be In Avengers: Infinity War
3. Mortal Kombat! (Annihilation #6)
Say it with me, in The Sound of Music song-song; How do you solve a problem like a death-worshiping, nihilistic overlord? Well, ripping out his still-beating heart is an option. Drax the Destroyer, everyones favourite butcher of bad guys and the English language, has obviously played enough Mortal Kombat X to know that when you want to be violent, you might as well turn it up to eleven. Taking a page from Kanos book of grievous bodily harm, Drax punches through Thanos back and out his chest, clutching The Mad Titans heart. Thanos, badass that he is, looks down and exclaims, Interesting. The best part about this? The whole reason that Drax took out Thanos was because Thanos was aligned with Annihilus, Lord of the Negative Zone and keeper of your nightmares. Annihulus was set to destroy the universe and Thanos, not one to let someone steal his thunder, was going to double-cross Annihulus and sic Galactus on him. Drax, man of impulse, doomed the universe by doing what he does best; bringing the pain. How It Would Work In Infinity War: It will be in Infinity War where we'll finally see the Guardians of the Galaxy and Avengers meet and witness the glory of Star Lord and Stark trading barbs like a cactus swap meet. Will we see Drax be the one to kill Thanos? He will have good reason, as Thanos was the one who let Ronin off the leash, leading to Drax's wife and child being murdered. If anyone can method act a scene from Temple of Doom with Thanos, its the man who managed to defeat Triple H cleanly in a Wrestlemania main event.
