6. Monopoly

Release: TBC

Kevin Hart's agent has been busy this week with Fatherhood announced and the small matter of Lionsgate and Hasbro's Monopoly movie. After a decade of the toy company planning something, things are apparently gathering pace with Hart hired and Ride Along collaborator Tim Story directing.

This will be the second Monopoly movie to be optioned with the tale of the great McDonalds/Monopoly Game swindle also in the works, but this is more of an adventure caper. A previous iteration of the movie followed a young man from the game’s cheaper Baltic Avenue (one of the brown squares, for UK fans) out to make his fortune.

There's no date along with Deadline's announcement but presumably it's coming in the next couple of years.
