That's been a lot of info about Luke Skywalker who, whilst nominally the hero of the original trilogy, isn't really anybody's favourite character. He's a bit of a wet blanket, not helped by Mark Hamill's...less-than-stellar performance. We're sure he's much better nowadays, though. No, the characters that everyone really latched onto - the ones kids wanted to own toys of, dress up as, and generally aspired to be - were Harrison Ford's roguish space cowboy Han Solo and his vocally-impaired sidekick, Peter Mayhew's big hairy Chewbacca. Ew, that sounded like a gross euphemism. Sorry. We know these two will be appearing in Star Wars Episode VII, although most of the information we've got on them so far has been about, well, Harrison Ford rather embarrassingly breaking his foot on the set of the Millenium Falcon. Han Solo, crippled by his own ship. Sounds like the sort of bad old people jokes people were making when all original cast were confirmed to be making a comeback. It's what happened, though, and it is kinda funny. Also: we're not sure that the Millenium Falcon even is his ship any more. Rumour has it that Episode VII will see Han and Chewie bereft of their iconic smuggling vessel, perhaps lost in a similar bad gambling situation that saw them get it from Jabba The Hutt in the first place. So what are they doing instead of trying to keep that hunk of junk together? Well, they've traded up to an ex-Imperial Super Star Destroyer - at least, that's if the internet is to be believed. And you shouldn't believe everything you read on the internet, kids. Even if cool coats are involved.
