9 Cheesy 90s Action Films That Were Secretly Awesome

2. Point Break (1991)

Point Break Keanu you gave us so much during the 90's: Speed, The Devil's Advocate, Chain Reaction, Bill and Ted's Bogus Journey. None of them hold a candle to your 1991 turn as the bank robbing, surfing, ex college quarterback with a noodle arm undercover FBI agent alongside the Swayze. Sent under cover by fellow FBI agent Gary Busey you were saved from drowning by Lori Petty and introduced to Bodhi and his ragtag group of nomadic surfers. You targeted the wrong group at first and poor Anthony Keidis lost a few toes in the process. Eventually you realized your new group of surfer buddies were the bank robbers you were looking for. You were heartbroken. You gave us bad surfing, unintentionally hilarious football, gratuitous violence and two of the most amazing yet completely impossible skydiving sequences in history. We cannot thank you enough.
