9 Creepiest Clown Movies Of All Time

4. Killer Klowns From Outer Space

Some would say that Killer Klowns From Outer Space is the one that started it all. They'd basically be right.

This film represents all that is good and right about 80’s schlocky B-movie goodness. It has everything you could ever want in a B-movie: outrageous effects, terrible acting and a self-awareness that we just don’t see enough of nowadays. The brothers Chiodo, who directed this film, made a piece of art that will forever be remembered in the same way that Rocky Horror Picture Show is. It’s a cult classic that reminds of simpler, happier times.

All of that being said, it’s still incredibly creepy. The design of the Klowns are cartoony, but still scary enough; the plot is pretty much The Blob with clowns but, quite frankly, that’s a terrifying premise.

There have been rumors of a sequel for years, but still nothing concrete. To be fair, the world probably isn't ready for a return of Killer Klowns From Outer Space, but the original film will go down as one of the best B-movies of all time.
