9 Disney Child Stars Who Didn't Go Off The Rails
3. Jodie Foster
Probably the most obvious choice to include on this list is Jodie Foster. After appearing in retro Disney films such as Freaky Friday (1976) and Candleshoe (1977), the child star ventured into more sophisticated roles. She was nominated for an Oscar aged just 15 for her role in Taxi Driver and would later win two for her roles in The Accused and The Silence of the Lambs.
She even found time to complete a Literature degree at Yale. As well as acting, Foster has served as a director on numerous projects, including episodes of Orange is the New Black and Black Mirror.
She lives in Los Angeles and has been noted to "value privacy above all else." Perhaps Lindsay Lohan is simply a victim of some sort of remake curse. She famously starred in the remake of Freaky Friday and the remake of Hayley Mills classic The Parent Trap and look how she turned out.
