By this point, there isn't much we could say about Dredd that hasn't already been said; it's a fantastic film that didn't reach a significant audience and we would love to have seen more.

Karl Urban's turn as the Judge is the best we've seen to date and unlikely to be bested anytime soon. As we implied though, the movie was a total bomb at the box office, despite receiving very good reviews.

To be fair though, the story of Judge Dredd is one that would fair far better in a TV series anyway. While Dredd was a great movie, it didn't allow us to see much of Mega-City One, which is a fascinating concept and one we'd love to see more of. That also goes for the entire, corrupt judge force.

The 2000 AD comic series is a brilliant one that deserves better than it has gotten on the silver screen. And that's why it's perfect for a TV adaption; one that shows more of the world, digs into who Dredd is, and shows us the corruption that runs through the veins of the city. And hey, if you want to bring Karl Urban back, we wouldn't complain.
