9 Extremely Specific Tics You Never Noticed In Famous Actors

2. Tom Hardy's Bug Eyes

Nobody can doubt Tom Hardy’s acting abilities, and the range of roles he can play is staggering in itself. Sure, sometimes his choice of accent can be a little mystifying (scientists are still trying to decode his Bane dialect) but even then he generally delivers electrifying performances to go along with them.

Still, one bad habit that keeps popping up throughout his filmography is the compulsion to bug his eyes out during an intense scene. He’s done this in everything from Star Trek: Nemesis, Bronson, The Dark Knight Rises and Legend. In The Revenant, he spends a good chunk of his scenes with his eyes practically popping out of his head. It certainly makes him look dangerous, but he might want to dial back on it before his eyes really do pop out.

He might also want to be careful about taking roles that hide half his face too, because after The Dark Knight Rises and Fury Road it’s starting to become a thing.

Handsome. Charismatic. Intelligent. Noble. Witty. I'm none of these things, but I'm a half decent writer, I guess.
