9 Famous Comedians Who Were Brutally Unfunny In Movies

7. Jerry Seinfeld

The best thing about Bee Movie is when the final credits start to roll. That and it convinced Jerry Seinfeld he wasn't untouchable and kept him away from the big screen ever since. Seinfeld is, of course, a comedy legend, both on the stage and on the small screen. His sitcom remains one of the most critically-beloved, highest-rated shows of all time, and has influenced everyone from Louis C.K. to John Mulaney. But his lone venture into film - animated film, even - was the laughably bad Bee Movie, in which the veteran comedian cashed in a whole bagful of favors from his friends (including Seinfeld alum Patrick Waburton and Michael Richards) to present the world with a tepid, monotonous, deafeningly mediocre family film that both kids and adults shrugged off as a terrible waste of time. It's not just that Seinfeld aims for the middle in Bee Movie, it's that he almost aggressively tuned out his singular voice, turning in maybe three or four jokes that would be worthy of airtime in any other platform. That pun in the title isn't so funny after you watch the movie.
