6. Shawn Wayans

There are no fewer than 300 hundred members of the Wayans clan working in Hollywood at this very moment. And out of all of them, Shawn Wayans is the only one who hasn't made a single funny movie. At least Marlon, his frequent partner-in-crime, can hang his hat on underrated gems like Mo' Money. Shawn, on the other hand, can only look back on his onscreen performances and cringe his way through awful spoofs that make Meet the Spartans look nuanced. The first Scary Movie was fine. It was crude and childish, and Shawn's portrayal of a young gay man is anything but tasteful, but at least you got the feeling that he was trying to be genuinely entertaining, rather than viciously humorless. The rest of his movies - Scary Movie 2, White Chicks, Little Man, Dance Flick - are the kinds of atrocities that you think the young Wayans would try to distance himself from, or at least keep his face out of, but the audacious screenwriter apparently thinks himself both a great writer and funny actor. Neither of which has proven to be true.
