5. Titanic: Leonardo DiCaprio Is A Time Traveller

When subjected to a thorough historical facts check, James Cameron's Titanic runs into a few icebergs of inaccuracy.

How is it that Leonardo DiCaprio's Jack went fishing in a man-made lake that wasn't created until five years after the titular ship sank? And why does he favour a style of rucksack that wasn't popular until the 1930s?

These are just two of the glaring errors that sunk Titanic from a historical accuracy standpoint, but this theory suggests there's more at play here than flawed research.

One fan believes that Jack is in fact a time traveller who has been charged with preserving history. If he hadn't of prevented Rose's suicide, the boat would have stopped to retrieve her body and therefore never stuck that iceberg, apparently.

So, Leo's intervention prevented a rift in the space-time continuum. That's what James Cameron fans should keep telling themselves, anyway.
