Arriving July 29, 2019

While The Red Sea Diving Resort is still a gamble, there is no surer bet than the absolutely incredible Spotlight from 2015.

Even if you haven’t seen Spotlight, the chances are you are familiar with the story of widespread child sex abuse within the Catholic Church and the systematic cover up. But if you haven’t seen Spotlight, you really should. This biographical drama follows a newspaper team at The Boston Globe who attempt to uncover and expose decades of abuse in the Boston area.

The ensemble cast, which includes Mark Ruffalo, Michael Keaton and Rachel McAdams, all do a fantastic job of bringing this powerful true story to life on the big screen. Spotlight won Best Picture at the 88th Academy Awards, along with Best Original Screenplay (for which it also won the BAFTA). Currently the film holds 97% on Rotten Tomatoes (from 353 reviews), 93 on Metacritic and 8.1 on IMDB.

Definitely one to watch this month.
