9 Found Footage Movies You Should Die Before You See

8. Grave Encounters 2

A film crew goes to a haunted asylum and €“ how€™s this for originality? - they never return. Such was the plot of Grave Encounters, so you€™d think the folks in Grave Encounters 2 would know better, especially since this sequel takes place in a world where the first movie exists, the characters have seen it and every armchair critic makes fun of it. But they want to know if the story€™s true, so they go to the asylum and €“ spoiler alert €“ everybody dies horribly. This is pretty trite stuff, so if you go into it expecting to see night vision footage, victims being dragged offscreen and pinheads swinging the camera around while shouting, €œWhat the hell was that?€, you€™re in the right place. For bad measure, the filmmakers also throw in Creepy Kids, phones that don€™t work and a body on a gurney that isn€™t really dead. Oh, and the ethnic guy dies first, but you probably guessed that.
