9 Huge Predictions For Black Panther

Andy Serkis made his MCU debut in Age of Ultron and is set to reprise his role as arms dealer Ulysses Klaue in Black Panther. Though there is a certain pattern of returning secondary villains being killed off almost immediately in the MCU, Klaue will not follow, but survive to the end of the movie.

Baron Von Strucker and Crossbones both returned for a second movie (though Strucker’s only previous appearance was limited to a mid-credit scene) only to be killed off before the end of the first act. Yet we have already seen enough of Klaue to know that he will not suffer the same fate.

The trailers show Klaue to be present in several distinctly different scenes, following him through South Korea and also in London at the very least. We also see the villain's new weaponised arm that is not there during his interrogation with Everett Ross.

It certainly looks as though Marvel is developing Klaue into a legitimate villain, who not only has ties to Black Panther, but also to Tony Stark and Scarlet Witch from his appearance in Age of Ultron. While he may end up back under the watchful eye of Everett Ross by the time the credits roll, we will certainly be seeing more of him in the future.
