Sharon Stone became a modern day femme fatale thanks to Basic Instinct, which also featured the most famous leg crossing scene in the history of cinema. The legacy of the character was somewhat tainted by the daffy sequel over a decade later, but this role will always remain her most famous.

A year after Basic Instinct the character made a genuine blink and you’ll miss it appearance in Arnie’s action parody Last Action Hero, where she can be seen lighting up a cigarette outside a police station. She can’t actually be seen smoking it though; the movie was PG-13.

This little appearance was used to underline the “reality” of the movie, where characters from just about every genre can cross over and meet with each other. In fact, just a moment later Robert Patrick’s T-1000 can be seen exiting the same police station.
