8. Se7en Almost Featured An Aggressive Female Dwarf Who Worked In The Forensic Department & Berated The Detectives

Se7en is already a pretty weird movie as it is, what with its plot about a serial killer who murders people according to the seven deadly sins, so the inclusion of - yes - a dwarf lady who works in the police force's forensic department seems like it might have gelled okay with the material, had it been included. But then you realise that no, what the hell place would that sort of character have in this story? Seriously. It's no wonder David Fincher decided to throw this bizarre and questionable inclusion out - it might damn well have destroyed the entire flick. Okay, so you probably want a bit more information on this one, huh? We don't blame you. In the development stages, then, somebody - and this somebody may or may not have been insane, though we're leaning towards the former - came up with the idea of having a dwarf woman working in forensics and investigating the cases with the movie's detective duo Mills (Brad Pitt) and Somerset (Morgan Freeman). The plan was for her to berate our heroes and call them out on their sh*t in the way that only aggressive female dwarf characters are capable of.
